About

MORE MILES FOR MORE SMILES How many calories can Chris ride in 24 hours? 24 Hours. One Bike. One Mission. Support Adaptive BMX Our Mission At Trumbull BMX, we believe every person deserves the opportunity to experience the excitement, confidence, and sense of community that BMX provides. We are committed to building a facility that is safe, accessible, and fun for riders of all abilities. Our adaptive program removes barriers so athletes with visual impairments and other physical challenges can participate, learn, compete, and succeed alongside everyone else. Programs We Currently Support - Low Vision BMX Racing Partnering with the Foundation Fighting Blindness and the Low Vision BMX Racing program. Creating opportunities for visually impaired athletes to race, train, and inspire others. Wakeman Boys & Girls Club Learn-to-Ride Program Weekly learn-to-ride clinics at the Madison Avenue campus. We collect donated bicycles, refurbish them when needed, and provide them to children who otherwise wouldn’t have access to a bike. Our Vision We’re working to make Trumbull BMX one of the most accessible BMX facilities in the country. To accomplish that, we’re raising support for: 1) A paved ADA-friendly pathway from the finish line back to the staging hill. 2) High-visibility track markings to help low-vision athletes safely navigate the facility. 3) 600-watt LED lighting to improve visibility during practices and races. 4) Two adaptive bicycles for riders who cannot safely ride a traditional two-wheel BMX bike. 5) Two adaptive push carts so riders with greater physical disabilities can experience the track with assistance. 6) A large open-air pavilion covering the finish line area to provide shade and protection from the weather for riders, volunteers, and spectators. 7) A new registration and classroom building that will serve as a STEM education space, community classroom, rider education center, and adaptive program headquarters. How You Can Help Whether you’re an individual, local business, contractor, or supplier, you can make a lasting impact. We’re seeking: - Financial donations - Construction services - Concrete and paving - Electrical and lighting installation - Building materials - Equipment donations - Volunteer labor Every contribution helps create a BMX facility where ability—not disability—defines the experience. Together, we can build a place where everyone has the opportunity to ride, learn, race, and belong. Your gift keeps adaptive riders rolling. 🚴‍♀️ Every donation supports safe equipment, coaching, and track access so athletes of all abilities can race, ride, and belong at Trumbull Track Inc. You help build an inclusive BMX community. Funds go toward adaptive bikes, track improvements, and outreach programs that welcome new riders with disabilities. Thank you for backing a track where everyone gets a real shot at the gate. ✨ Learn more at: www.Trumbullbmx.com
